Upstream Business

SOPB’s upstream of oil palm estates and mills are all located in the state of Sarawak, the largest state in Malaysia, and Malaysia is one of the world’s largest oil palm growing region.

The upstream operation of Miri-based plantation company includes the development of oil palm plantations, cultivation of oil palms, management of estates, milling of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernels. The total land bank of SOPB and its Group of Companies is currently stands at 72,653 hectares in Sarawak.

Downstream Business

In line with SOPB’s vision to be an integrated player with upstream and downstream activities, SOPB established its first palm oil refinery and fractionation facility with an installed capacity of 1500 tonnes a day in both refining and fractionation process.
