Public Relations Executive

Qualifications & Requirements:

      1. Possess a Degree in Public Relations/Communications/Journalism, or a related field.
      2. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in PR and social media management, preferably with exposure to creative agencies or managing diverse brand portfolios.
      3. Proven track record in leading PR campaigns, managing media relations, and coordinating events.
      4. Experience in a creative agency environment managing multi-brand communications is an added advantage.
      5. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
      6. Advance proficiency in social media analytics, digital content creation (Adobe Photoshop, social media tools), and basic project management tolls
      7. Strong ability to cultivate and maintain media relationships to enhance brand reputation and drive positive media coverage.
      8. Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, adaptable across a variety of PR campaigns and communication channels.
      9. Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

      1. Lead content creation for PR campaigns, including newsletters, social media, and event materials, ensuring that align with SOP’s brand and communication objectives.
      2. Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives and community partners, representing SOP at public events to enhance brand visibility.
      3. Plan and execute SOP Foundation events, overseeing logistical arrangements, and preparing post-event reports to summarize impact and feedback.
      4. Serve as a Brand Guardian, upholding SOP’s visual and messaging standards across all internal and external communication platforms.
      5. Facilitate in-house training and knowledge sharing sessions, promoting professional growth and team cohesion.
      6. Support management in executing ad-hoc tasks and special projects as required.
