SOP Group believe certification system can provide a credible way to implement, evaluate and communicate the progress of our commitments towards sustainability.
As a pioneer, well-recognized leader and producer of palm oil products in Sarawak, SOP Group management participated actively in stakeholders consultation of various certification standards including the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Best Management Practices for Peat Development through RSPO Peat Working Group and International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) Regional Stakeholder Dialogue South East Asia.
Besides, through Sarawak Oil Palm Plantation Owners Association (SOPPOA), we actively involved in the drafting and formulation of current Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) Certification as a representatives in MSPO Technical Working Committee for MSPO certification, Expert Working Group for MSPO Supply Chain Certification Standard (SCCS) and MSPO National Steering Committee of Ministry of Primary Industries.
SOP Group work closely with the industry stakeholders, government, relevant agencies and participating in various working groups and technical committees for sustainability certifications.
