Drone & GPS Operator

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. 1. Experienced in ground survey and aerial survey using conventional GPS device, survey equipment and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)
  2. Able to operate MapSource and Quantum GIS (QGIS) or other GIS software and flight planning applications
  3. Familiar with image processing software such as Agisoft Photoscan Software or others will be an added advantage
  4. Willing to drive and travel to rural areas if needed
  5. Valid driving license and able to drive 4WD

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Operate drones to capture aerial photos and videos of oil palm estates
  2. Use GPS devices to collect basic field data for mapping and surveys
  3. Assist in monitoring plantation conditions, replanting areas, roads, and drains
  4. Ensure drones and GPS equipment are used safely and properly maintained
