Assistant Safety & Health Officer

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. 1. Possess a Diploma / Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, NIOSH Certificate or related field
  2. Minimum 1 – 2 year(s) of relevant experience in occupational safety & health management
  3. Familiar with OSHA requirements and safety and health practices
  4. Good interpersonal, organization and communication skills
  5. Willing to travel to rural operational areas on a regular basis
  6. Possess a valid driving license and able to drive manual 4WD vehicles

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Conduct workplace inspections, documentation audits and investigate accidents or incidents
  2. Assist during inspection, audits or workplace visits by DOSH officers or other authorities
  3. Support the planning and execution of safety & health programs or activities
  4. Assist in developing occupational safety & health risk assessments and procedures
  5. Carry out any safety and health related duties or instructions assigned by the Company
