Purchasing Assistant
Qualifications & Requirements:

- Possess a Diploma in Business Administration, Automotive, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role
- Knowledge of vehicle and machinery spare parts, including familiarity with various equipment brands and models
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SAP system, AutoCAD, and Aspen Plus is added advantage
- Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team with minimum supervision

Responsibilities:

- Source and obtain quotations from suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and process purchase orders
- Prepare and maintain purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement-related documents
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Coordinate repair and maintenance services between end-users and suppliers
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Maintain accurate procurement records and assist in month-end reporting
- Perform any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time
