Purchasing Assistant

Qualifications & Requirements:

      1. Possess a Diploma in Business Administration, Automotive, or a related field
      2. Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role
      3. Knowledge of vehicle and machinery spare parts, including familiarity with various equipment brands and models
      4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
      5. Knowledge of SAP system, AutoCAD, and Aspen Plus is added advantage
      6. Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
      7. Able to work independently as well as in a team with minimum supervision

Responsibilities:

      1. Source and obtain quotations from suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and process purchase orders
      2. Prepare and maintain purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement-related documents
      3. Monitor and follow up on outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
      4. Coordinate repair and maintenance services between end-users and suppliers
      5. Liaise with internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
      6. Maintain accurate procurement records and assist in month-end reporting
      7. Perform any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time
