Miri, Sarawak – Sarawak Oil Palms (SOP) is thrilled to announce the triumphant completion of the SOP 56KM Virtual Run, where 256 runners collectively covered an incredible total of 32,317.20 kilometers over the past three months. This virtual event brought together participants from various SOP operation regions, united by their passion for running and their commitment to pushing their limits.
Leading the pack with an extraordinary performance, Harffidi Bin Hashim secured the top spot, accumulating a remarkable total of 1,600.90 kilometers. Harffidi’s dedication and endurance have not only set a new benchmark for the SOP 56KM Virtual Run but have also solidified his status as a champion, following his previous victory in the SOP 55KM Virtual Run.

Close on his heels, Shafiq Afizan Bin Saifulbahari took the second position with an impressive 1,476.40 kilometers. In third place, Carniger Henry Bujang demonstrated exceptional perseverance, covering a commendable 1,166.60 kilometers.
“We are immensely proud of all the participants who took part in the SOP 56KM Virtual Run. The collective distance covered is a testament to the dedication and hard work of each runner,” said Kiu Kwong Chiang [邱光璋], Controller – Operations of SOP Bintulu Refinery. “Events like these bring our community together, encouraging a healthy lifestyle and a sense of accomplishment.”
The SOP 56KM Virtual Run has once again proven to be a platform for runners to challenge themselves, set new records, and celebrate their achievements.
