MIRI, 25 April – Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad (SOP) launched its refreshed corporate logo during its Annual Dinner held on 25 April at the Imperial Hotel Miri, attended by over 1,200 employees and guests from across the country.
The unveiling marked a significant milestone in SOP’s ongoing journey of growth and transformation. Among the honoured guests was Group Business Advisor, Tan Sri Datuk Ling Chiong Ho, who joined the celebration of SOP’s brand evolution and strategic direction for the future.
Group Chief Executive Officer, Paul Wong, remarked, “The new logo reflects our forward-looking approach, built on a legacy of trust, performance, and the resilience we continue to strengthen as a company. It signifies not only our evolution, but also a fresh start—one that reaffirms our commitment to progress with purpose and clarity.”
The refreshed logo presents a fresh, modern visual identity for SOP and will be standardised and implemented progressively across all operations within the Group. This rebranding initiative forms part of SOP’s broader efforts to modernise its corporate image while remaining true to the values that have shaped the organisation for more than five decades.
To recognise dedication and drive, SOP presented awards to its best-performing estates, mills, and downstream celebrating operational excellence across the Group. Additionally, over 80 employees were honoured with Long Service Awards testament to their enduring commitment and valuable contributions to SOP’s continued success.
The evening was full of excitement and joy, with a Lucky Draw, fun contests, and a Best Dressed competition, where employees with the most creative and colourful outfits were crowned winners.
