Run into the Sawit Starting Point.
LAMBIR, MIRI — SOP is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the Run into Sawit 2023 event, a grand celebration held in conjunction with SOP‘s 55th Anniversary. This memorable event took place on September 16, 2023, at the scenic SOP Lambir Estate, with the 10-kilometer race starting at 7:00 AM, followed by the 5-kilometer race at 7:05 AM. Lee Tien Sing, Senior Estate Manager had the honour of officially flagging off the event.
“Run Into Sawit 2023” lived up to its promise, bringing together passionate runners, sports enthusiasts, and loyal SOP employees. A total of 179 SOP employees joined the 5-kilometer category, with 124 males and 55 females, while the 10-kilometer category saw 41 participants, comprising 31 males and 10 females.
In the category of 5-kilometer for male and female Nelson Mawing and Melissa Anak Parrot emerged as the triumphant winners, securing 1st place. As for category 10-kilometer male and female were dominated by Harfidi Bin Hashim and Alyssa Leona, who clinched the top positions.
Run Into Sawit 2023 provided an unforgettable experience, complete with exciting prizes, live music, and refreshing refreshments at the finish line. The event underscored SOP‘s unwavering commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among its employees and within the community.
