SOP’s Kasi Jadi Social Hiking Brings Together Staff Across Sarawak

MIRI, 2 Aug – Sarawak Oil Palms (SOP) once again brought its workforce together through the Kasi Jadi Social Hiking 2025, held at the scenic Niah National Park on 2 August 2025. The event welcomed over 200 SOP staff from various departments and locations across Sarawak, along with several family members of SOP staff who joined during the group photo session.

With clear skies and warm weather, the day provided the perfect setting for a refreshing hike. Participants gathered early and were divided into groups before embarking on a guided trail through the lush rainforest of Niah National Park – an experience that blended nature, adventure, and team spirit.

The Kasi Jadi Social Hiking initiative not only promotes healthy living but also strengthens interdepartmental ties among SOP staff across Sarawak. It served as a meaningful platform for employees from different backgrounds and regions to connect and foster stronger relationships beyond their daily work environment.

“We are pleased to witness such strong participation from SOP staff across Sarawak. Initiatives like this not only promote healthy living but also foster unity and camaraderie across departments and regions,” said Agnes Nyelang, the Senior Public Relations Manager from SOP.

The event concluded with a lucky draw session, where participants had the chance to win exciting cash prizes – wrapping up the day with laughter and camaraderie.

Through engaging activities like this, SOP continues to promote an active, united, and connected workforce across Sarawak.
