Miri – Sarawak Oil Palms (SOP) marked the joyous occasion of Chinese New Year on 23 February 2024, Friday, with a grand celebration hosted at the residence of Tan Sri Datuk Ling Chiong Ho, Advisor of SOP Group. The event brought together approximately 300 SOP employees and their family in a festive atmosphere filled with cultural performances, entertainment, and camaraderie.

The highlight of the celebration was the presence of Tan Sri Datuk Ling Chiong Ho, who welcomed and joined in the festivities with SOP employees. Also present was Paul Wong Hee Kwong, the Group Chief Executive Officer. The event showcased the company’s commitment to fostering a sense of unity and inclusivity among its workforce, regardless of cultural background.

Guests were treated to a vibrant array of performances, including traditional lion dances, cultural dances, and musical performances. The lively atmosphere was further enhanced by a lucky draw session, angpao session for kids, adding an element of excitement and anticipation to the festivities.
