Miri- Following the grandeur of its 55th Anniversary Celebration dinner, Sarawak Oil Palms (SOP) continued its legacy of celebration and community engagement with the SOP Family Carnival 2023. The event, held at the Miri Indoor Stadium, was a joyful gathering of SOP employees, their families, friends, and the public, reinforcing the company’s commitment to unity, camaraderie, and social responsibility.
The carnival was graced by the presence of distinguished figures, including Group Executive Chairman Ling Lu Kuang, Group Chief Executive Officer Paul Wong Hee Kwong, and Chief Operating Officer Eric Kiu Kwong Seng, their attendance underscored the significance of the occasion and their support for SOP‘s values of togetherness and philanthropy.

All proceeds generated from the event, including ticket sales and sales from food and merchandise stalls, will be donated to Healthy Strides Malaysia, an organisation committed to promoting health and well-being within local communities. SOP‘s dedication to giving back and making a positive impact on society shone through in this act of generosity.
Paul Wong, Group Chief Executive Officer of Sarawak Oil Palms, shared his thoughts on the carnival’s significance, saying, “The SOP Family Carnival is a wonderful opportunity for our employees, their families, and the community to come together and celebrate.
